The Epson Stylus C79 — an incredibly versatile colour printer with individual ink cartridges that makes light work of printing photographs, documents and Web pages, with the major benefit of print brilliance and durability resulting from the revolutionary DURABrite Ultra ink technology.
While the Stylus C79 is an amazingly versatile printer for high quality Web page, document and letter printing, when it comes to printing photographs, the enormous potential of this stylish colour printer is revealed in full; and it's due to a combination of innovative technologies.
With the MicroPiezo print head, incredible accuracy in dot placement ensures photographic prints are crisp and clear. Thanks to Epson's Variable Sized Droplet Technology, large ink droplets can be used for quick coverage of solid areas, and smaller droplets – so small that they're at the limit of human vision – are used for fine details and gradations.
Add to the combination Epson DURABrite Ultra inks, edge–to–edge BorderFree printing and a range of high quality Genuine Epson papers, and the Stylus C79 becomes a compact photo printing solution for the entire family.
Utilising advanced Resolution Performance Management (RPM) Technology, the Epson Stylus C79 delivers incredible quality at resolutions up to 5760 Optimised dpi. With RPM Technology, the Stylus C79 uses medium–sized dots for quickly laying down areas of solid colour, while finer dot sizes are used in areas of gradation and blending.
When used with Genuine Epson inks and papers, the results are photographs with such high levels of clarity that the quality is often regarded as superior to the output from professional photo labs.
With individual Epson Intellidge ink cartridges, the Stylus C79 is ideal for users looking for a high quality multifunction printer with exceptionally high levels of ink utilisation. Each of the four (Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow) Intellidge ink cartridges contains sophisticated circuitry that maintains an accurate record of how much ink has been used and the amount remaining
Since each Intellidge ink cartridge tracks its own ink levels and maintains that information even when unplugged from the printer, it's the best possible system for using full cartridges for continuous large print jobs whilst partly used cartridges can be used for other smaller jobs — maximum ink usage, maximum benefits.
