The Epson EcoTank ET‑4950 is a cartridge-free “supertank” all-in-one printer designed for home and small-office use, notable for its ultra-high ink yield, multifunction capabilities, and modern connectivity. It comes with large refillable ink tanks that Epson claims can provide up to three years’ worth of ink included in the box, translating to about 6,600 pages of black printing or around 5,500 in colour. Built on Epson’s PrecisionCore Heat-Free technology, it delivers print resolutions up to 4800 × 1200 dpi and quoted ISO speeds around 18 ppm mono and 9 ppm colour. It also features auto-duplex printing, a 250-sheet input tray, a 2.4″ colour touchscreen, a 30-page automatic document feeder (for scanning/duplex), and full WiFi, Ethernet and mobile-app support via Epson’s Smart Panel. In short, the EcoTank ET-4950 offers a combination of low running costs (thanks to the supertank system), solid multi-function capability (print/scan/copy/fax) and modern connectivity, making it a strong pick for busy home-offices or small businesses.
